Gain an understanding of the GCSE topics of ratio and proportion and develop your problem-solving, logical reasoning and critical thinking skills to best prepare them for the exam.
This course is for foundation students who want to get a great understanding of the GCSE topics of ratio and proportion. On the course, students will learn about direct and inverse proportion and see some GCSE exam-style questions which they will be guided through. Students will then look at ratios and learn how to use bar modelling to answer ratio questions when they are less straightforward, as well as how they look in the GCSE papers. During this course, students will become fluent in essential numerical and mathematical concepts, whilst developing their problem-solving, logical reasoning and critical-thinking skills to best prepare them for the exam.
