Do you love food and would like to develop a deeper scientific understanding of how nutrition works? This course teaches you the fundamentals of human metabolism and how to tailor your diet to your individual needs.
This course provides students with an in-depth introduction to the principles of human nutrition. Throughout this eight-week course, students learn the difference between macronutrients, micronutrients and trace elements. This distinction enables a deeper understanding of the scientific composition of the foods we eat and how our bodies metabolise them. Students learn how to measure their own body composition and then use this information to practically apply the principles to tailor their diet to their body type.
